Yes, you are eligible for IES. There are 4 streams to appear, i.e. Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil. Appearing from Electronics is advisable as it is the closest branch .Similarly, Production & Industrial students can appear of Mechanical, Instrumentation students can appear from Electronics.

Yes, you can apply for GATE and IES exams.

There is no percentage criteria required to appear for ESE examination. Candidate having degree of B.E/B.Tech or equivalent is eligible.

There are NO attempt limits for IES exam. Until you are within the maximum age limit of 30 years for GEN, 33 years for OBC, 35 for SC/ST candidates, you are eligible to appear for IES.

GATE exam is conducted by IISC Bangalore in association with any one of the seven old IIT’s.
